AI Assistant: Tools, Chat & Architect

The AI Assistant is MoLOS's built-in AI agent that connects all your modules through natural conversation and 72+ MCP tools. Instead of navigating menus and forms, just tell Architect what you need.

Quick Start

Access: Navigate to AI → Dashboard or press Cmd+J (macOS) / Ctrl+J (Windows/Linux)

Your conversation history is saved automatically. Close and return later to continue where you left off.

What Architect Can Do

Architect has access to all MoLOS modules through MCP tools:

Task Management

You: "Create a high priority task to review quarterly report by Friday"

Architect: "Done! I've created a new task:
• Title: Review quarterly report
• Priority: High
• Due: Friday, March 25, 2026

Would you like me to add any subtasks or reminders?"

Health & Fitness

You: "Log my weight as 165 lbs and note I did 30 minutes of cardio"

Architect: "Recorded! Weight: 165 lbs, Exercise: Cardio - 30 minutes.
Your weight trend is down 2 lbs from last week. Great progress!"

Goals & Progress

You: "How am I doing on my goal to read 24 books this year?"

Architect: "Progress: 6 of 24 books (25%). You're on track!

Quick Prompts

Copy and paste these to get started:

  • "Give me the smallest plan that still hits my goal by Friday."
  • "What is blocking my progress, and what is the next thing I should do?"
  • "Compare this week to last week and tell me where I drifted."
  • "If I can only do 30 minutes today, what is the best move?"
  • "Turn this into tasks and add a simple timeline."
  • "Show me my high priority tasks"
  • "What tasks can I complete in under 15 minutes?"

Tips for Effective Use

Be Natural

Architect understands conversational language. No specific commands needed.

✅ "Add a task to buy milk tomorrow" ✅ "Show me how much I spent on dining out last month" ✅ "Remind me to call mom this weekend"

Provide Context

Include relevant details for better results:

You: "Create a task to prepare for my presentation"

Architect: "I'll create that task. Would you like to add:
• A due date?
• Any subtasks (slides, rehearse, handouts)?
• Priority level?"

Follow-Up Questions

Architect remembers context within a conversation:

You: "Show me my high priority tasks"
Architect: [Shows 4 tasks]
You: "Mark the first one as complete"
Architect: "Done! 'Review quarterly report' is now complete."

Ask with Goals, Time, or Constraints

Architect loves clear boundaries:

  • "What can I finish in the next hour?"
  • "Give me a plan to hit my goal by Friday"
  • "What's blocking me from making progress?"

Privacy & Data

Your Data, Your Control
  • Conversations stored locally in your MoLOS instance
  • Architect only accesses modules you've enabled
  • Clear conversation history at any time
  • MCP integration requires explicit auth key configuration
note

Architect does not replace your modules. It connects them so answers are based on your actual data, not guesses.
